Brussels Special Venues seen through the eyes of its President, Jean Vandamme
Member of Brussels Special Venues since 12 years, Tour & Taxis Venues & Maison de la Poste Event Manager Jean Vandamme tells us why this collaboration has lasted through the years and continues to delight event planners :
It is undoubtedly the good harmony between the members of this association. For instance, if we can’t answer a request, instead of refusing it, we transfer it to the other members and in this way we create a dynamic.
Indeed, this collaborative dynamic puts aside the idea of competition at all costs and makes you, the event organizers, the main focus by putting your needs first so that your event is a success. Jean also points out that :
That’s pretty unique for an association, because usually an association is more about lobbying, whereas we’re really doing marketing to advance the members.
Going well beyond his membership status, Jean also assumed the role of President of Brussels Special Venues several years ago ensuring that these values remain at the forefront with the help of the other members of the Board of Directors: Annik Halmes (Vice President of BSV – Bozar), Eline Labar (Ancienne Belgique), Ellen Lorang (Residence Palace), Didier Goffart (Concert Noble) and Winne Jacobs (KVS)
One thing is for sure, Jean Vandamme & the Tour & Taxis Venues team are dedicated to provide you with a safe environment, as welcoming as it is committed to sustainability, inclusion and accessibility. This former train station will offer you and your guests a unique experience in a breathtaking industrial setting. Whether you are planning a large-scale event or an intimate one, their team will not only advise you on which venue is best suited to your needs but will also carry out all your wishes to make your event as close as possible to what you had envisioned and much more!
