Brussels has been ranked #48 in the World’s Best Cities 2026 by Resonance Consultancy, placing our capital firmly among the world’s most vibrant and livable destinations.

The ranking celebrates cities that stand out not just for their performance, but for how residents and visitors feel about them — a blend of data, perception, and real-world experience.

Brussels performed particularly well in standard of living (#8), air quality (#19), and mobility, ranking 27th globally for walkability and 20th for biking. The city’s abundant green spaces and human-scale lifestyle continue to make it a place where both locals and visitors thrive.
