An unconventional space for extraordinary events
Hidden in plain sight in the heart of Brussels, just steps from the city’s administrative and European quarters, Hexagon brings new life to the former Dexia headquarters on Rue de Ligne. This remarkable 1970s architectural landmark offers 5,000 m² of raw, repurposed space built around a central hexagonal patio, where a monumental steel sculpture by Olivier Strebelle rises twenty metres into the air.
More than an event venue, Hexagon is a multidisciplinary cultural hub where music, art, creativity and people come together. From intimate gatherings to large-scale productions, its distinctive architecture and versatile spaces offer an unconventional setting for corporate events, cultural experiences and private celebrations.
The main space – 2,000 m²
An expansive, adaptable floor with raw architectural character and its own bar. The space lends itself to a wide range of formats, from corporate receptions, networking events and award ceremonies to exhibitions, markets, brand activations and private celebrations. Previous events and collaborations include Disney, Picon, the Putain afterparty and the 10 Years Uber Eats celebration.
The auditorium – up to 250 guests
Inspired by 1970s Scandinavian design, the auditorium offers a distinctive and intimate setting for conferences, presentations, screenings, talks and live performances. Past events include intimate concerts, screenings of the acclaimed television series Putain and Daredevil, and lectures by Europe for Culture.
The club & concert venue
A fully equipped underground venue designed around an exceptional sound and light experience. With a professional d&b audiotechnik sound system, carefully managed acoustics, a dedicated bar and a flexible layout, the space is suited to concerts, club nights, private parties and immersive brand experiences. For larger productions, the venue can expand into three distinct areas: a main club and concert space, a second room and a dedicated chill-out zone.
Where culture meets production
Sound and light are central to the Hexagon experience. Alongside its professional d&b sound infrastructure, Hexagon works with Dreamplant, a young, forward-thinking lighting design team whose work includes Horst, Beautiful Freaks and Waking Life. Together, they bring the building’s architecture to life, transforming its raw spaces into carefully crafted experiences.
More than a venue
Beyond events, Hexagon is an active creative ecosystem, home to recording studios, artistic residencies, emerging talent and sociocultural initiatives: a place for experimentation, collaboration and artistic development that connects creation with presentation. Every euro generated through the club is reinvested in this broader sociocultural mission, supporting a space where culture remains accessible and new ideas have room to grow. Hosting an event at Hexagon means becoming part of that story.
