It goes without saying that the COVID crisis was disastrous for the event industry. However, even though the industry has bounced back and has not been idle, the shortage of personnel is now a serious challenge. Event Confederation and Live 2020 have therefore opted for an industry-wide social media campaign to highlight the strengths of its professions. This is a first for this sector, but the needs are too important in view of the many projects planned.
