Jardin: Brussel’s secret garden oasis

Jardin, or Grand Hospice as this breathtaking venue is officially named, is no ordinary venue. It’s a not-to-be-missed green haven, ideal for fun cocktails, gorgeous weddings, or dining outdoors amid a vast expanse of stunning greenery.

This inner-city jewel is mesmerising. It possesses that “wow” factor that guests look for. Navigating the well-manicured gardens or sitting by the bar, it’s hard not to be hypnotised by your surroundings.

During the summer, the gardens are open for daily visits, should you like to pop into this event venue with a lush view. Savour one of their flirty cocktails or refreshing beers. With the bar sandwiched between the two garden areas, you’ll get the impression of being in the middle of a tranquil oasis, thus leaving the urban jungle far behind as you sip your drink.

While stunning to behold now, the site didn’t always look as immaculate. Once in a state of neglect and disrepair, Jardin Hospice received a facelift to restore it to its former glory as a place of music, fun and connection.

Grand Hospice’s two stunning decorated gardens can be privatised for special events. Covering 3500 square metres of ground, space is abundant and can be tailored to your needs.

KVS: a cultural hub in the heart of the city

If you’re a theatre fan, KVS is a cultural epicentre in the big city that stages diverse performances.

However, when no performers are on stage, discover the magic and versatility of KVS’ halls. They can transform into spaces for inspiring workshops, engaging presentations or dazzling receptions when the spotlight is off.

The neo-classical hub was born out of a necessity in the late 1800s for performers without a theatre. It offered a permanent home and stage for performers and theatre-goers alike, earning itself a special place in Brussels’s rich cultural scene.

What guests love about KVS is that its storied past is found everywhere you look. While a fire in the 1950s might have destroyed parts of the theatre, the hall lingers with the rich scent of history. Today, it remains richly with art nouveau detailing, beautiful balconies, and an armoury you can find at the back of the building, adding mystery to this historical space.

We like:

  • The beautiful ornate balconies and art nouveau detailing make KVS so visually stunning and memorable.

We love:

  • KVS is a significant cultural beacon with a vibrant soul and unique history.
