KEITH HARING – A SPECIAL TREAT FOR YOUR EVENT AND YOUR GUESTS
BOZAR, the great doyenne of Belgian culture and European centre for avant-garde art, knows how to combine tradition and innovation, art and entrepreneurship.
From autumn 2019, two important (but very different) artists – Brancusi and Keith Haring – will be in the spotlight with major retrospectives.
The long-awaited retrospective of Keith Haring, who left us too early, will be open from 06 December 2019 until 19 April 2020, with an exhibition of his work, influenced by pop art and hip hop, and his message of activism in New York in the 1980s.

ABOUT KEITH HARING
The legendary American artist Keith Haring was a presence in New York in the 1980s.
A friend of fellow artists Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, he played a key role in putting street culture on the map with his colourful, graffiti-like and immediately recognizable style.
Famous for his motifs of barking dogs, crawling babies and flying saucers, Haring sought to create a « public art » that he disseminated through the media and collective urban spaces. He produced a powerful volume of work that has lost none of its relevance.
EVENT IDEA: IMMERSE YOUR EVENT PARTICIPANTS IN A SPECIAL NIGHT
On Thursday nights, BOZAR is open to the public, but private evening visits are becoming increasingly popular.
Why not take advantage of an exclusive exhibition visit after closing time? This is a unique opportunity to bring colleagues together, to spoil your customers, or to expand your network – while discovering the artworks in private.
The night formula includes: Exhibition entrance, VIP welcome, private tour, experienced guides, free parking, cloakroom, presence of a coordinator, provision of a reception area (catering not included) in one of the BOZAR rooms.
