Hexagon: a view from every angle
Hexagon, the former Dexia headquarters, is a 1970s landmark in the heart of Brussels, close to the European Quarter. Now a member of Brussels Special Venues, this cultural hub opens three exceptional event spaces: a large main floor, an auditorium and an underground club. Let’s take a look.
What makes Hexagon different?
Some venues are built around a stage. Hexagon is built around a patio: a six-sided courtyard where a steel sculpture by Olivier Strebelle rises twenty metres high. The building keeps its raw authenticity, now with sound and light to match: a d&b audiotechnik system and lighting design by Dreamplant, a team that has worked for Horst and Waking Life. The architecture becomes part of the show.
What kind of events work at Hexagon?
Three spaces, three moods. The main floor, with its own bar, hosts corporate receptions, award ceremonies, exhibitions and brand activations. Disney has used it, and Uber Eats celebrated ten years here. The auditorium, inspired by 1970s Scandinavian design, suits conferences, talks and screenings. Below ground, the club takes concerts, club nights and immersive brand experiences, and expands into three zones for larger productions.
How many guests can Hexagon host?
Up to 1,000 on the main floor, for a cocktail or a seated dinner. The club welcomes 800 for a concert or a cocktail, and the auditorium seats 230 in theatre or cabaret style. The building covers 5,000 m² in total, with an on-site AV team, interpretation booths and a list of recommended caterers.
How do you get to Hexagon?
Hexagon is located at Rue de Ligne 2-8, 1000 Brussels, and served by Parc and Gare Centrale metro (lines 1 and 5) and trams 92 and 93 (stops Congrès and Parc). Coming by car? Parking Royal (Rue de Ligne 27, open 24/7) and Q-Park Pachéco (Boulevard Pachéco 7) are within walking distance.
Every euro the club generates goes back into Hexagon’s cultural work, from recording studios to artist residencies, so your event becomes part of that story. Add Hexagon to your request list and receive a proposal within 48 hours, free and without commission. Take a master view of Brussels.
