AREA42 awarded the Ecodynamic Enterprise Label!

We’re proud to announce that AREA42, one of our standout member venues, has been officially recognized by Brussels Environment for its commitment to sustainability and eco-management.

Located in a classified 1937 building by Michel Polak—formerly home to the RTT—AREA42 is not only a breathtaking architectural venue but also a leader in green practices. With 2,000 m² of fully modular event space in the heart of Brussels, it can host everything from conferences to cocktails for up to 900 guests.

🏆 In December 2024, AREA42 earned the Ecodynamic Label, thanks to a range of impactful initiatives, including:

  • 80% LED lighting (100% targeted within a year)
  • Optimized waste sorting
  • Bicycle parking & water-saving systems
  • Eco-certified cleaning products
  • Heat pump-based heating system
  • Use of second-hand furniture
  • Local & eco-labelled suppliers
  • Client awareness around sustainable goodies & branding tools

🎯 The goal? A second star on the label—by expanding with solar panels, supporting local green initiatives, and creating even more sustainable outdoor spaces.
