Here is a pick of initiatives that some venues are currently undertaking: concrete assistance to the public during the crisis, renovations or new projects, initiatives to fight the spread of the virus, solutions for event planners, online concerts, and visits to museums, etc.
1. AFTER THE CRISIS: FINDING SAFE REOPENING SOLUTIONS
Some venues are currently hosting online events, while others are working on safe reopening solutions or hybrid events as a way forward.
Here are a few of the steps being taken to help organise events while protecting the safety and well-being of all participants:
BLUEPOINT BRUSSELS
To keep your audience engaged during the lockdown, BluePoint is offering the possibility of organising remote brainstorming meetings via their live streaming platform so your event can continue regardless of your location in the world.
DOCKS DOME
When event venues are allowed to reopen, Docks Dome will offer the possibility of organising events in complete safety thanks to the installation of a video conference and live streaming system. All this, without any physical contact between individuals! Furthermore, the venue is studying the possibility of setting up a thermal camera system at the entrance of the venue to detect body temperature.
RESIDENCE PALACE
Residence Palace is the proud host of national and international major live stream press conferences. And as the venue also houses the International Press Centre, it is one of the best equipped for this type of event! SILO BRUSSELS
NEW since May 2020!
You can now host your virtual or hybrid event on a fully customizable stage from the new ready-to-use virtual studio at SILO Brussels.
Corporate eventing is about interacting wih your audience, with your presenter or multiple remote keynote speakers. Think about it: live interactions will simulate the feeling of an offline event!
WILD GALLERY
When it reopens, Wild Gallery will also offer the possibility of organising completely safe events, with no physical contact between individuals, thanks to the installation of a video conference and live streaming system. Setting up a thermal camera system at the entrance of the venue to detect body temperature is also in the pipeline.

2. HUMANITARIAN HELP DURING THE CRISIS
Our world turned upside down in just a few weeks. Coronavirus has forced us to show solidarity and act together.

WILD GALLERY
Wild Gallery is currently offering spaces to the authorities for needs related to the COVID-19 crisis: for material storage, or as temporary sewing factories, etc.
And the venue is also offering event rooms to universities and colleges so that they can safely organise their end-of-year exams by implementing distancing and other safety measures.
TOUR & TAXIS, THE SHEDS
COVID-19 is particularly serious for the more vulnerable sectors of the population! Thus, The Sheds, is now transformed into a free temporary shelter, with a dormitory and medical care, for migrants, asylum seekers, and homeless people in Brussels. An initiative that was set up by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Belgium, in conjunction with other local partner organisations and NGOs.
