A New Artistic Landmark at AREA 42: Discover “Dispersion”

At Brussels Special Venues, we’re proud to work with partners who continuously push the boundaries of creativity — and AREA 42 is no exception. This bold, industrial venue has just taken its visual identity to a whole new level with the unveiling of a monumental mural titled “Dispersion.”

Spanning an impressive 100m², this new work of art is the result of a collaboration between artists Floriane Mandin and Matthieu Mary. Designed by Floriane Mandin, the mural draws its inspiration from the architecture of the Vals thermal baths in Switzerland — a structure renowned for its raw concrete, silent atmosphere, and interplay of water and light. These elements are echoed throughout AREA 42’s own spaces, making the mural feel like a natural extension of the venue’s personality.

Much more than just a backdrop, Dispersion enhances the visitor experience by bringing an additional layer of depth, intrigue, and visual storytelling. It’s a powerful statement that complements AREA 42’s core mission: offering an “out-of-the-box” environment for creative thinking, collaboration, and unforgettable events.

Located in Brussels and offering 2000m² of flexible event space, AREA 42 is ideal for conferences, cocktail parties, product launches, corporate gatherings, and more — hosting anywhere from 100 to 800 guests.

Whether you’re planning an event that demands a bold visual identity or simply looking to be inspired by great design, AREA 42 is a venue that continues to evolve and surprise.
